HOW DO WE TREAT OUR DOGS?

Our dogs are the part of our family so we treat them as we would want to be treated.

WHERE DO WE KEEP OUR DOGS?

Our adult dogs live in insulated kennels that are heated in the winter by a wood burning stove. Every dog has its own room and a door to go outside into their own run. We have long runs that are filled out with river stone so there is no mud or standing water. We often take the dogs inside the house, rotate them in turns so all of them get to spend some time with us at home and sleep on the couch. Puppies and mothers are always inside the house where we have a room specifically for them.

WHAT OUR DOGS EAT?

Our dogs eat human- grade biologically appropriate raw meat and bones. They often eat eggs and milk. We use herring fish oil and kelp as supplements as well as vitamin C and other vitamins if necessary. Puppies are weaned on ground meat. If we notice that a pup needs extra feeding we use this special formula:

Bottle feeding formula for puppies:
1. Add a 10 oz. of canned evaporated milk or goat’s milk (not pasteurized cow’s milk - this will cause scowers. Dogs cannot drink normal cow’s milk)It is best to use Goats milk.
2. Add 3 oz. sterilized water (baby water or boiled water) this is not needed if using goat’s milk
3. 1 raw egg yolk
4. 1 cup of whole yogurt (avoid skim or fat free if at all possible)
5. 1/2 Tsp Karo Syrup or Corn Syrup (NOT HONEY!!!!)

We do not trust commercial preparations and we recommend that new owners educate themselves about natural diets.

SOCIALIZATION:

Our puppies are socialized from early age. One of our dogs recently became a Therapy Dog.

VETERINARY CARE:

Our dogs are vaccinated and dewormed regularly. They are under constant veterinarian care. All puppies are examined by the vet before we hand them over to the new owner. We recommend that the new owner plan the visit with his/her vet as soon as they get the puppy. We will exchange all the puppies if they are sick within 72 hours from purchase.

I am grateful every day for the wonderful friend you gave me! And hopefully we can get another one in the future. I am always recommending you to people we meet, as we always get questions about her and where she came from. You guys made the experience of getting such a loving friend so much easier. Thank you for everything you did for us!

Thank you for such a great dog. Deville is currently attending intermediate classes weekly at PetSmart. We started him off at nine weeks old in their puppy class, which is a week early than they like to start the puppies. On his final exam he started last, finished first, and was the only puppy that had a perfect score. As the picture shows he is the teachers pet. Socialization has been a breeze. He plays very well with his friends of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Deville loves car rides thankfully, due to the fact we travel a lot. Complements are a daily occurrence. It’s funny when other pet owners are in awe of our dog. We are frequently stopped by people admiring Deville, even while going through a fast food drive thru. As all the testimonials have said we could not have asked for a better pet and best friend. Thanks again!

Zeus is a big and lovely boy with a very huge head, at just 1½ year of age. His weight is 45 Kilo. He is an extremely happy dog and very friendly to all human and dogs, he doesn’t need to emphasize his position to other dogs, neither female ore male. This is very important to us. He is all in all, the dog we wished for. He is still a teenager and loves to run around and play, loves to struggle. His movement is not the best, if I don’t hit the right speed when we are running at shows. He normally wins 1 prize, in his class, if he runs smoothly, but never the second time around, due to the way he runs… like a happy rabbit, with rear-end legs up under him at the same time… but we LOVE that boy. He has past the German temperament test ZTP at the 11. Phingst Show this year. His Penn Hip is 0.43 and 0.50, and our vet says that he has a A or maybe B-hip. We have also got a request on a stud with him, from The Netherlands. We have also just used him on our own Bullforce Kimmi, and are expecting puppies around week 2-3 next year.
